Homestay visit and interview
Our staff conduct homestay inspection
We evaluate the home suitability and overall household environment
During the interview, we access host’s ability to support student's wellbeing and cultural adjustment
Hosts are briefed on their roles and obligations

Homestay matching and placement
We aim to place student with hosts as soon as possible, based on their preferences
Some delays in placement mat occurs during off-peak months (April-May and October-November)

Ongoing Support
Online homestay training is offered several times and year
Host must attend a refresher cource every two years to meet homestay industry requirements.
Interested hosts must complete a detailed host application
Hosts are required to review and sign the Host Agreement
Host must have a cleared working with children check
Check travel distance to potential schools
Access home environment for suitability
