Over the last two years there have been a number of challenges for the Education Industry which was the 3rd largest export industry generating 18 billion dollars a year in revenue. This trend is changing.
In addition, there is more focus on the duty of care for students, which means Host families are required to have working with children checks, or police checks, done, on a regular basis and have public liability insurance which covers paying guests.

Income Tax
Families are allowed to have two students at any one time and receive income from them without having to declare the monies received for tax purposes.
Guest/Holiday Makers Program
