Guardianship

GuardianshipOur Guardianship / Care Giving Program has been created to ensure that International students under 18 years of age are appropriately supervised both inside and outside school during their study period in Australia.

It is the requirement of the Australian Government that a responsible adult be nominated to supervise these students and to inform the student’s parents if there are any problems related to the student’s stay in Australia.

The aim of our Guardianship / Care Giving Program is to provide peace of mind to parents while their children are studying in Australia by having someone responsible for their child’s welfare and wellbeing.

Our Guardianship / Care Giving Program is structured to meet the criteria set down by the Department of Immigration, Multicultural & Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) and means the International Student can apply for the Student Visa while studying in Australia.

A guardianship fee of $200 per month applies.

"Thank you for finding such a great host mother for me. She provided me with good meals, took me to the train station, guided me to the city and always had time to chat with me."
